Caesar answered questions Maximo Moreno Grez, responsible for Marketing and Public Relations Program Biblio headquartered in Santiago.
1,. Tell us who you are and you are doing.
My name is Cesar Espinoza Garces, I am an officer of the Public Library of birth, municipality of the region of Bío Bío. I run Biblioredes as EPB, since 2003, and taught basic computing, user-level, many people in town. Besides General Education Basic study with a major in Language and Communication, which I am finishing race later this year. I am a lover of nature and literature, and work in the Library, mainly Biblio has given me the opportunity to be in contact with the world through the net and try to use virtual tools to publicize my community and its people.
2 .- What is your job to motivate the creation, redemption and the conversation of local content in the Community?
Unfortunately, our community has no significant natural heritage due to growing industrialization has damaged our environment and natural stolen native to our environment. Nor is there a wealth of tourist attractions that operated to take advantage, so that local content is reduced to the organization of people trying to keep alive a cultural and communal identity through folklore, art, and commercial activity traditional products. Our library has created numerous sites web of these features through Biblio and the new virtual community of local content we broadcast. Each activity or organization that emerged in the village try to contact her to motivate and include digital recording on the site. For my part, to the extent that time permits me, I try to visit the site and provide input and comments, with the idea of \u200b\u200bgrowing virtual community and give it the importance it deserves, at a time when the digital world rather than a tool is a necessity.
Now with the imminent arrival of new technologies to the library (the camcorder from BiblioRedes), I will be able to seek out those elements that are released spontaneously, and also record the vast amount of cultural and artistic activities that are particularly severe in the summer in my community, which until now had been unable to do.
3 .- Local What content should be present in the Community?
In a time when environmental issues are very much in vogue, and we see that in the world, every day, you lose a piece of our land into the hands of "progress" and material wealth, destroying ecosystems and damaging biodiversity, I think we can, at the national level, to disseminate local content natural heritage that all Chileans we know our most beautiful places, know of their existence and learn to love and care, long before having the opportunity to visit them, which unfortunately not everyone can do. Noting further that the internet is global, it becomes twice as important to be known these places and sites worldwide.
Now, at the community level, as I said our community is not as rich as I wish. But nature is everywhere, and there are places that birth can be accommodated in places of natural beauty, and tried to upload. The rural beauty is in many parts of our community.
But I also believe that we have to mention the immense possibility that virtual tools give us to spread our aboriginal cultures, and that through the network the identity of these people can be known by all, with the added value not only we can find general information, and that through local content can display audiovisual material from the roots of its protagonists, and throughout the world.
4 .- Contents of the region highlight?
I like the Heritage Photos Lebu, for the rescue of the past, the video Cobquecura Candelaria Festival, and Ritual in Cañete Mapuche I found it very nice. I think there is a content could be updated and improved, and he would get more out of broadcasting, I liked it because it seemed quaint and is a party that did not know, this is the Shrimp Festival in Ñiquén. It is also very nice history of Chigwell. But each of the sites uploaded to the community has quite a story to tell, and hence its importance.
5 .- What do you most attracted the attention of local content in your region or municipality?
Well, mainly the amount of material that can be drawn from the people themselves, and how each of these people, places or groups can become a local content and contribution to national identity, through the network.
6 .- In what benefits users of the Community's participation in it?
Mainly because through the dissemination of the internet is capable, it is releasing a range of cultural content that they add to the network, filled with so many sites that do not contribute to the essence of human and other harmful, negatively affecting the large number of network users. In the Community, users can learn from other places and people of Chile, and publicize their experiences and creations. I think the community has a very large capacity exploited yet, so I could look for mechanisms that local content page had spread even further and make it an important gateway into the country.
