The Library and rural sectors

are almost 40 miles that separate the beautiful rural village of Los Guindos urban area of \u200b\u200bour dear birth. First on asphalt, and then on dirt roads (which in winter become almost impassable) but always with the company of clean air, wildlife and refreshing Chilean countryside, the Bookmobile makes it to the most remote areas. The Library provides this educational mission with a small but important grain of sand. The books that children can amuse their leisure, and also learn and complement their studies.

eight years ago and that the Library won the awarded project that allows the Bookmobile, and the purchase of texts that have enabled other projects, continue with the task of bringing culture and entertainment to rural children with in order that they do not suffer educational segregation (and hence social) that being isolated from the city could generate. Carry

books in the field implies a novelty for children. Novelty, however, is repeated in time with our field work, and that means not only read and have fun with books, but also have contact with technology, through the personal digital photos out in the sector and that children can be seen after color printed, or the Library web pages, when we visit. For this and have them always present, rural children such as Los Guindos are permanently grateful.
