23 April, World Book Day
"To write a book does not consider it imperative Paris knowing or having read Don Quixote. Cervantes, when he wrote Don Quixote, had not yet read. "
(Miguel Delibes)
With this famous and amazing sentence this man makes very clear the option to write a book just need to have the passionate desire, structured, and clear it.
Today, on this day, we remember the anniversary of the death of three of the "greats" of world literature, Cervantes, Shakespeare and Garcilaso de la Vega. Other major were born or died on this date.
The election of April 23 as the day the book comes from the coincidence of the death of the writer Miguel de Cervantes, William Shakespeare and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega on the same date in 1616, although was not really on the same day, because the date of Shakespeare corresponds to the Julian calendar, which would be on 3 May in the Gregorian calendar and Cervantes died on 22 and was buried on 23. It also coincides with the birthday of Vladimir Nabokov (1899) and death of Josep Pla (1981).
The proposal was presented by the International Publishers for UNESCO, with the aim of promoting culture and the protection of intellectual property through copyright. On 15 November 1995 the UNESCO General Conference approved the proposal in Paris, from which on 23 April would be the "International Day of the Book and Copyright Author ".
addition, on this day, Spain celebrates the" Language Day "to promote the use of our language today, it held more than 80 countries.
And on this day, King of Spain gave the famous "Cervantes Prize" which is the highest literary award for English-speaking authors.
This date was chosen by the General Confederation of UNESCO (United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organization) on request the English government, in turn, had been proposed by the International Publishers Association (UTE)
So in this special day, all without exception, we must instill, especially in younger children, the pleasure of reading, but in a playful way. In addition, we must make them understand more, to them, the effort made by writers to advance society both socially and culturally.
Interestingly enough, in Spain, men give women a rose that will give away a book to them.
In our country, the Chilean Book Chamber calls on this day that the book must have free movement donating, gifts, loans or buying. In many places of our cities and other places provided for this purpose is presented to the public all about our Majesty The Book! such as contests, activities, awards, promotions, sponsorships and demonstrations.
Biblioredes In this aspect opens the doors to their libraries not using the usual metal key, but providing access to books, magazines and demases "using a" click "" (*),
to enter cyberspace and thus provide both children and adults, the ability to access all that means reading.
((*) expression used by Mr. Fernando Juárez, Librarian of Muskiz, Spain in the V Meeting held at Biblioredes Quisco last March 13.)) Catalog.

The blood of thousands of dead
united us as a big tear
smiling. She was the joy
I was all pure nostalgia
And laughter and tears became one.
For a few moments.
Love
we had chosen to play a short game.
And share a thousand memories.
thousand songs and a thousand dreams.
The love we had chosen.
But doctrinal division began
And love became suspicious
The same ideal
As I united us.
A common origin
As I united us. The same flag
According to me.
But it was not.
She clung to his right.
She was taken away from me.
endless punishment began
The unequal struggle and ridiculous
And time passed and reached indifference.
The cruel indifference.
I felt the scent of other flowers aroma
but always returned;
and made me wrong. Certainly
love and we had forgotten. We separated
geographies
thousand five hundred battles
We separated and I was defeated in battle

But never forgot.
